About me

A young woman with long red hair, wearing a beige and brown shirt, sitting at a table with her arms resting on it, smiling slightly at the camera in an indoor setting with a framed picture and some decor in the background.

Hi! I’m Kat Boldt (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Ohio. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University in 2024. I’m a sex-positive, person-centered therapist who provides a warm, affirming space for people navigating identity, intimacy, relationships, and self-understanding. My counseling style is all about collaboration and empathy. I integrate approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy into my practice.

As a donor-conceived person myself, I also hold deep care for supporting DCP, recipient parents, partners, and family systems through the unique emotional and relational layers of donor conception.

My work is especially supportive for individuals and relational constellations exploring:

✨ Sex and sexuality
✨ LGBTQ+ identity and queer relationships
✨ Kink/BDSM-informed care
✨ Polyamory and consensual nonmonogamy
✨ Shame-free sexual health conversations
✨ Desire, connection, and communication
✨ Donor-conceived people (DCP) and their families

As a donor-conceived person myself, I also hold deep care for supporting DCP, recipient parents, partners, and family systems through the unique emotional and relational layers of donor conception.

My experience.
